There's this Greek blog that I'm following called
http://www.jenny.gr/ that is absolutely fabulous! It has articles about beauty, style and fashion, health, celebrities and lifestyle, home decorating, recipes, etc. (You should check it out!) It is there that I came across these wonderful ideas of reusing old Christmas cards and I thought I should share them with you!
I'm sure you have plenty of them from previous years that you just can't throw away and can't put them ALL on display either. So why not do something creative with the cards this year! (and the next...)
If you're emotionally attached to some of the cards and don't want to destroy them, why not make a beautiful album of them! |
If you have any DIY ideas about Christmas decorating, please do share!
Lovely ideas - will try some of these for next year . Ive recycled all my cards from last year so will have to wait until this years are finished with!
ReplyDeleteAren't they really lovely?! I will do some this year!
DeleteI think these are all great ideas for adults. When my kids were little I used to let them cut them up and make a collage. It was always a fun and pretty art project for them, full of pictures, words, even some signatures.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! How come I never thought of that!?
DeleteOh, these ideas are all wonderful, especially the ornaments! My Mum always got us kids cutting up old cards to make gift tags, and I've done that religiously every year since! I hate to waste them!!
ReplyDeleteI hate to waste them, too. Plus I get emotionally attached to some but had never thought of using them like that. Lack of imagination/creativity?!!! I don't know!
